Developed at the InjectAbility®Institute, the PRPcocktail™ treatment addresses a universally bothersome area, the aging neck. PRPcocktail™ uses your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and then combines it with some of our most popular FDA approved products. Once this collagen is produced, the anti-aging effects are expected to last up to two years. Due to the fact that PRP is a by-product of your own blood, this treatment causes very little downtime.

PRP for Hair Restoration

To increase hair density, the growth factors and platelets from your plasma are injected into your scalp. These cells cause the hair follicles to grow by stimulating the stem cells and other cells in the microenvironment of the hair follicle. Every strand of hair has a life expectancy of 4-5 years. As we age, some of our follicles shut down and stop producing new hair growth. Approximately 25% of men begin showing signs of hair loss as early as age 30 and by 60 years old, 2/3 of men will have substantial baldness. Women also experience early thinning due to chemical or mechanical damage. The primary purpose of using PRP in hair restoration is to stimulate inactive hair follicles into an active growth phase. With as little as two or three treatments, patients have appreciated very noticeable results, and continue maintenance twice a year.

The Science of PRP

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and the source is your own blood. We draw your blood and spin it in a special machine to separate the plasma. We then reinject the plasma into the areas needing stimulation. Your plasma contains special cells such as growth factors and platelets. These special platelet cells promote healing in the skin and accelerate the rate and degree of new collagen regeneration. This translates into healthier, firmer skin tissue.
